New Planets

Goal

Each planet has its limitations. And My Little Planet is not an exception. At one point, the players are interested in moving ahead and unlocking new planets, to develop them and increase their profits. The current game version offers 5 planets where players grow grass, trees, rocks, flowers, and fruits/vegetables. Each recently discovered planet can potentially generate more income than the previous one.​

Behavior

Unlocking New Planets

The player can’t simply move to a new planet. The players earn experience scores for different actions, like upgrades, fulfilling orders and completing quests, crossbreeding, and so on.

Those scores are summarized and shape the level of the player in the game. As soon the player reaches a certain level in the game, he will be granted to unlock a new planet.

The player needs to spend tokens for unblocking the new planet, the prices are the same for all players for each of the planets.

After unblocking the planet, the player develops it by purchasing plots, seeds, and so on and thus generating revenue from it.

Moving from Planet to Another Planet

Moving between the planet happens immediately. The player selects the planet and taps on it. He will be transferred to this planet instantly.

Benefits of Owning Several Planets

• Increasing the revenue. We use idle games as a reference where new location openings significantly affect your earnings. We have implemented this in My Little Planet. The new planet gives the players the opportunity to make more earnings compared to the earnings on the previous planet. It allows us to grow and develop together with level-up in the game.

• Using resources more efficiently. When you own 2 or more planets you don’t need to wait for fuel replenishing in your auto and in order to collect resources. Having collected resources on the first planet, you can travel to other planets and collect all necessary resources there, plant new seeds and place your transport for an upgrade, and so on.

• Diverse gameplay. The players are given an opportunity to participate in exciting quests by transferring between planets with diverse resources and, overall, spend more time playing.
